Anne and I were fortunate enough to be able to travel up to Cherry Springs S.P. a few weeks ago near New Moon. We joined Gary, Tracey and Jan Rush in a little enclave. Great company and favorable weather! Experimented with a wide-angle lens that we had for a long time; but never used for AP. It was coupled with a ZWO OSC camera. As you can see, the off-axis performance of the lens was only so-so, but the dark, transparent sky was beautiful. Details below:
