Sad News for the DVAA

Dear Friends:

It’s my sad task for the second time in a single year to reach out to tell you of the death of a dear friend, in this case DVAA Welcoming Chair Vince Lannutti. As many of you will know Vince served the club for so long and so well that I cannot for the life of me remember a time when he wasn’t at the heart of the DVAA. When we spoke last Friday he seemed as full of piss and vinegar as ever, but as matters proved out this was clearly not the case. I have no idea what caused this untimely demise but even so two things are certain: Vince was the best of us and he will be sorely missed!.

I would invite you all to join me at Vince's Memorial Service, this Wednesday,12/20/2017, starting at 9:30am at the Craft Funeral Home, 814 Bethlehem Pike, Glenside, PA (see http://www.craftfuneralhomes.com/obituaries/vincent-d-lannutti/ for more details)

I plan to attend the service and I trust that I will be joined by as many of my fellow DVAA’rs as possible.  I have no doubt that it will be a sad event, to say the least, but if I may offer an observation, the way that the DVAA came out in droves for Karl Henry was one of the proudest moments of my life.  I can only hope that we will do Vince equally proud…
