What is this?
This is the Rain Date for MSSP 2019.1, originally scheduled for June 2019.
After consulting with members of Bucks-Mont Astronomical Association, we've decided to move the venue from Cherry Springs to BMVO due to traffic concerns and the fact that this is on a holiday weekend with competing interests from friends and family.
Blue Mountain Vista Observatories is a nice site in the Poconos owned by a club member. It boasts the ability to view stars with a magnitude of 6.2 or better on transparent nights and is convenient to Cabelas, Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, and other sites.
