What is this?
Do you have a telescope and want to know how to use it better, unsure of how best to use it to navigate the skies, or just want to learn the basics of telescopes?
Bring your telescope and join The Franklin Institute's Chief Astronomer Derrick Pitts and his team for an interactive introduction to your telescope—from how to set it up to what to look for in the night sky. Our goal is for you to leave with confidence you can operate your scope and a renewed sense of how to explore and appreciate the wonders of the night sky.
This workshop is $30 for members and $50 for non-members. Each registration includes an annual guidebook to the night sky and a star map.
